Visit our Farm
Take a step back in time and enjoy the historical setting of Eagle Bend Alpaca Farm. The first and largest in the northern KY area, Eagle Bend is home to alpacas of Peruvian, Bolivian, and Chilean heritage. Mingling with them will delight you, bring a sense of tranquility, and once you’ve touched them, you will experience the comfort factor of their beautiful, soft fleece.
Eagle Bend can accommodate those coming from out of town. There is also a local bed-and-breakfast establishment to which we can refer you. Hospitality here is not an issue, as your convenience is our priority. Phase I of our herd building plan is now complete, with Phase II in the beginning stages. A renovated tobacco barn houses our ever-growing herd, and Phase II will encompass the opening of new fields and the erection of a new barn! Phase III, which is still in the planning stages, will provide for an on-sight educational facility with private guest accommodations and a farm store.
Visiting is a wonderful opportunity for beginners to learn about the industry, to become acquainted with the alpaca, and to have one-on-one personal time for discussion, questions, and good conversation. We will do our best to walk and talk you through the entry level of alpaca ownership, as well as follow along with you once your decision is made.
