Eagle Bend Alpacas has added a new component to our fiber production, registered Cormo sheep!  In November of 2013, we purchased 4 registered ewes from a farm in California for the purpose of harvesting their fine-micron wool.  In 2014, we added, Goliath, a registered Cormo ram who could definitely increase the size of our small flock of sheep.
Cormo is a fine wool, beautifully bright and lusterous, with well-defined crimp structure, much like alpaca fleece.  We are using this fiber to blend with some of our alpaca yarns for our wool-loving customers!  We are able to offer, thru our online and on site farm store, raw fleeces for handspinners as well as other products comprised of cormo wool.

On Easter weekend, 2015, our ewes gave birth to two ewe lambs and one ram.  They are absolutely adorable!  When you visit the farm, you will see the new lambs with their mamas and possibly get to hand feed them.  They are a delightful addition to Eagle Bend.
