Out of production

If you are looking to improve your grey foundation, you will want to look hard at this herdsire. SSF Pride is the offspring of some of the older genetic lines such as Peruvian Jaxon, Peruvian Timothea, Acero Marka's Mr. Know It All, and Alcina-Challipina. His sire, My Peruvian Ndume was a beautiful true black male, and his dam, SSF Silver Celebration, has been one of our top production females. All of her progeny have been sold as herdsires, and her female offspring are show winners. At age 14, she is still producing and her 2012 cria has just arrived - a female! Pride has always been stunning. At age 6 months, he took 3rd place in a large class of silver grey juvies at OABA's AlpacaFest, and repeated this award under the scrutiny of Judge Mike Safley at the 2006 Ky Classic. As a yearling, his show placements varied, but as he matured, judges liked his massive size and tons of long-stapled fiber.

Their admiration for his attributes placed him lst and even Reserve Champion in the AOBA National Fleece Competition in 2007. As a herdsire, Pride's progeny show marked improvement of their head style, loads of fiber, and perfect conformation. He has consistently thrown black or grey offspring, mainly females. His last female cria just took 4th place at the 2012 AOBA Nationals. Pride's disposition is affectionate and he is very approachable, even after becoming a breeding male. He is highly valued in our breeding program as a set-up male, and can help you improve your females.

We have reduced his stud fee to promote breedings. Be sure to take advantage of this perk.
